Recognition.

Sure, the money is great. The prize packages are pretty cool, too. But that isn't why we created the event. The Battle for Mile High was created to recognize the athletes, the trainers and the communities they're a part of and have built. So we're going to use this as an opportunity to Salute, Cheers and Thank each and every one of you. If you are an athlete, a trainer or a member of our community and agree with this mission, then Join the Battle. Give us the opportunity to recognize you.

These are the people who work to become the amazingly strong, fast and resilient individuals we know them to be. We Salute You... With respect, we salute your ability to inspire us to go that extra inch, foot and mile. For demonstrating the full passion, courage and commitment our sport embodies. You are living illustrations of what it takes and what it means to make major (and sometimes minor, but scary) life changes. Your impact goes much farther than you'll ever know.

These are the trainers and the communities they have built. The ultimate support systems. They have seen us at our very worse and seen us move mountains (from the deep squat). Without these foundational houses our sport would never survive. So to them, we say "Cheers!" CHEERS to having our backs and CHEERS to another round. May our glasses always be full and our hearts never empty.

Thank to the Patrons.

If the Athletes were the seeds and the Boxes the gardens from which they grow...then the Patrons would be the sunlight, rain and nutrients necessary for us all to grow. These organizations, business, companies and ultimately individuals supply us with the time, the equipment, the recognition and sometimes even the money to see us succeed to the next level.
